Okay, ignore the old, dirty marker boards and notice everything else. I have read some articles about students being overly stimulated in classrooms with all of the STUFF we put up in our classrooms. Next year we are only having the following things at the front of my room:
- Response stems
I hope that by lessening the amount of STUFF in my classroom students will pay more attention to what they are learning and less attention to STUFF on the walls.
