Drowning in Grace

What is grace?

Grace is the free and unmerited favor of God (according to Google dictionary). Grace is the free gift of forgiveness from God when we confess our sins to him and ask for Him to consume our life.

God’s grace is enough for you. Your sin is not too big for God’s grace. It is covered. The debt has been paid. His grace is enough.

grace and truth

Jesus was sent to us full of grace and truth.

There are so many verses about grace. I think of Esther when she was going before King Xerxes to plea for him to save her people. Esther (actually no one) was not supposed to approach the king unless he had asked for her. She went before him anyway knowing that he could have her killed. God allowed King Xerxes to have grace for Esther and he welcomed her into his presence (whew!). God allowed King Xerxes to hear Esther’s plea and extended grace to the Jewish nation.

I love the song Oceans by Hillsong UNITED!

Your grace abounds in deepest waters.

When I’m in over my head, surrounded in sin and worldly matters, your grace abounds.

I also love How He Loves Us by the David Crowder Band!

And we are His portion and He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes,
If his grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking.

I want to sink in God’s grace. The grace of God should be all around me to cover my sinful nature.

Thank you God for your unfailing grace! Thank you for telling us that You have enough grace for each of us. You are too good to forgive us and extended grace to each of us!
